Truly things happen for a reason. Before that day I knew that my province was signal number #3 I didn’t mind it too much because I thought it would be just like other typhoons. Early morning the wind is blowing not that strong.

When the night comes the wind was still the same. and I didn’t mind at all. it was 10 pm when the wind gets stronger it was so strong that you will hear the roof of our neighborhood thundering so loud. it lasts for more than 2 hours. then after a few minutes, it stops I thought it was over. but it was not It began again at 2:30 am it was stronger than the earlier. I thought our roofs will be removed but thank God it didn’t happen.

At 3:00 am we are all shocked that a flood will appear if it wasn’t for someone who screams that there is a flood then we will know late. I was in a panic for a few minutes the water is slowly deepening so we manage to make our things in a safe place. as the day goes on the water keeps deepening it reaches our tummy just a little longer than my thing will be soaked in the water that God the rain stop.

The rain gets stronger at 4:00 am and stop around 1:30 pm we are all awake all nights and days that day. then the floods start to go down at 2:00 pm and it was gone at 4:00 pm.

Now the problem is cleaning the mud. it was dark and now clean water to use. but still, all of us manage to clean in our own ways. At night there is no electricity then I was scared because there is a snake that they didn’t manage to kill and got scape and we all don’t know where it was and whose house it was now.

Thank God tonight the power is back. A new start to everyone, A blessing that we are all safe. A reminder that everything will disappear from you in just a blink of the eyes. WE are safe because it was God willing. We have our things safe because it was His will. I will never deny the power he has.

And of the memorable thing happen in this typhoon is this crazy guy that makes us laugh so loud. He makes us happen at the situation he make a styro phone as his boat. when he tries to ride in his styro boat and he failed we laugh. will he was happy doing it and he knows that a lot are watching him. Thanks to him he makes us happy that very moments. all of us are laughing because of him.

Lesson: Always be ready. I wasn’t that ready in that situation because I used to hear a Brgy. warning if there’s a possible flood but I understand that it was impossible for them to give a warning in that situation.
