Firstly, dark humor is the very vague term. And to me, dark humor is something which explains the truth of life in very depressive manner.
Example for dark humor is as follow.
Just like telling a four year old boy, that one day in future he is going to die, this thing is humorous outlook to the one who is telling this. But this is very depressive truth in general, to be told to the four year old guy.
