The day i learned what”scared”felt like.

The first time I went to Manila with my mom and my brother, I was very excited
. I was six years old them and it was my
first time to travel by plane. We were going to meet our father who was here in the Philippines for a vacation after being a seater
a year. My father had been a seafarer for the most part of his life before he retired in 2016 medid I know that my trip to Manila
wouldve me a lesson that I would remember for the rest of my life. After we arrived in Manila and had a cheerful reanin with
father, we visited a lot of plates, ate different kinds of food and enjoyed ourselves very much it was not every day that we could
get together as a family, and we wanted to make the most of the little time we had. Our visit to the mall stuck in my mind up to
this very day. We were shopping for television set and I was following my parents and my brother around. Since it was taking tham
a lot of time to talk to the salesperson about television sets, I got bored and went around on my own. At first, I was confident
since I was expecting that they were just somewhere near and I could easily go back to them i wanted to However, I got
fascinated with the different sights in the mail and I lost track of the time. By the time I got back to the plate had left them, they
had already gone off to another area of the mall looked around, but I did not see them. It was then that I felt as if a large jatoi
very cold water was splashed on me. I sweated all over and my hands were shaking. I felt all alone and that no one was there to
help me. My tears started rolling down my face and I was trembling in worry and fear, thinking anxiously what I would do i did
mot find them. Thankfully, a good Samaritan approached me and asked me what was wrong itold her was lost and that I could
not find my family. Fortunately, my family found me. They were also looking for me hugged my mother tightly still crying loudly.
We thanked the kind woman who helped me and we went on our way. After that time, I never left my mother’s side again every.
