I toldmyself that I finally found a place where I can be at peace and more comfortable with theLord.However, way back in 2011, my faith seemed to be tested by this single experiencethat changed my life forever. First, I was rushed to the hospital because I was suffering froman on and off fever which lasted for days. My Mom took me to two different hospitals toassure me that I will be fine but it didn't go well. Doctors said it's just a mild fever butsuddenly I lost lots of blood, had high fever which rushed all over my body. I was soondiagnosed with dengue fever. Unfortunately, I have to undergo blood transfusion. Duringmy blood transfusion, my vital signs dropped off. I experienced seizures and I couldn'tcontrol my jaw locking. It was really a hard time. Until, I told my Mom that I wanted togive up. My Mom told me to hold on. We prayed hard and listened to Christian songs. Whendawn came, nothing had changed with my vital signs and they have to rush me to the ICU.As the doctor and nurses patiently attended to my medical needs something strangehappened. My vital signs immediately became normal and as if I didn't go through hell, mydoctor was quite amazed of my progress.Now, I realized that there are reasons to live and reasons to stay.
